The EFB Elektronik 691706FTS.1 wall mounted rack is a steel-sheet enclosure with a screwed frame, designed for mounting networking and electronic equipment on walls. It is delivered unassembled and is self-ventilated; the roof, bottom and rear wall have pre-punched openings for cable entry (230 x 41 mm) and the roof is prepared for mounting two single fans (Art.-No. 691664). Inside there are two front-sided, depth-adjustable 19" rails. The front door features a 4 mm certified safety glass window and a lock. Cabinet parts are completely earthed, the finish is RAL9005 jet black, and the cabinet has an IP20 protection rating with a maximum load of 60 kg. Two keys are included.

How to use

Unpack the cabinet from its transport packaging and assemble following the included assembly instructions. Fix the cabinet to a suitable wall structure using appropriate anchors and fasteners rated for the cabinet weight and planned load. Remove the side wall via the quick fastener to access the interior and adjust the 19" rails to the required depth for your equipment. Route cables through the pre-punched openings (230 x 41 mm) in the roof, bottom or rear and install optional fans on the prepared roof positions if active ventilation is needed. Close and lock the front door after installation; keep the cabinet earthed per local electrical regulations.

Recommendations

Install the cabinet on a load-bearing, vibration-free wall and verify anchors and fixings are suitable for the combined weight of the cabinet and equipment. Provide appropriate clearance for air circulation and service access; add fans if equipment generates significant heat. Ensure proper grounding during installation and follow local safety and cabling standards.
