How to use

Install the ER8411 in a rack or on a stable surface and connect the power supplies. Use the 10GE SFP+ and RJ45 ports to connect your WAN uplinks and LAN switches according to your network design. For multi-WAN setups, assign WAN roles to available SFP+/SFP/RJ45 interfaces and configure Multi-WAN Load Balancing to distribute traffic across links. Insert a compatible 4G/3G USB modem into a USB 3.0 port to enable LTE WAN backup. Use the Omada SDN controller (cloud or local) to perform centralized configuration, monitor status, and manage devices across the network.

Recommendations

Place the router in a cooled, ventilated environment and use redundant power supplies for continuous operation. Keep firmware up to date and configure VPN, firewall and VLAN policies through the Omada controller to ensure secure, segmented access. For optimal 10G performance, use compatible SFP+ modules and high-quality cabling between the ER8411 and connected switches or servers.
