How to use

Connect the AK-57 hub to a host device using the USB-C connector. After connection the hub operates in Plug & Play mode; the system should recognize the USB ports and the Ethernet adapter automatically without additional driver installation. Plug USB-A peripherals into the available USB-A ports and connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 socket when a wired network is needed.

Recommendations

For best performance, connect high-speed external drives and peripherals directly to the USB-A 3.1 ports and use a Cat5e or higher-rated Ethernet cable to achieve Gigabit network speeds. Avoid using multiple power-hungry devices simultaneously if the host does not supply sufficient USB-C power.
