How to use

Install the TL-SF1005LP on a flat surface or mount it in a suitable location. Connect non-PoE and PoE devices to the appropriate RJ-45 ports using Cat5e or better cabling. The switch is unmanaged and requires no configuration: it provides automatic detection and power negotiation for PoE devices. To extend distance for a remote camera, enable extend mode (consult the product manual) and note that port speed will fall to 10 Mbps at longer distances.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 cable for reliable PoE delivery and to maximise transmission distance. Reserve ports 1–2 for critical cameras or video equipment when you need priority video delivery.
