TARGUS Fiber felt gasket for Kamado 23/24 inch — set of 2 pieces

TARGUS fiber felt gasket set for Kamado 23/24 inch — set of 2 pieces provides replacement seals intended for 23–24 inch Kamado-style ceramic cookers. The two-piece set is designed to sit between the lid and the body of compatible Kamado grills to reduce smoke leakage and help maintain stable internal temperatures. Constructed from heat-resistant fiber felt, the gaskets are a maintenance and repair accessory aimed at restoring or improving the cooker’s lid-to-body interface.

Advantages

The fiber felt material offers heat resistance and compressibility to create an effective seal without rigid components. Supplied as a pair, the set allows simultaneous replacement of both lid contact points for consistent performance. These gaskets are a practical choice for restoring temperature control and reducing smoke escape on compatible 23/24 inch Kamado cookers while preserving the cooker’s original operating characteristics.

Suitable for

• Replacement of worn or damaged lid-to-body gaskets on 23–24 inch Kamado grills
• Routine maintenance to restore proper sealing and temperature stability
• Performance tuning to reduce smoke leakage and improve heat retention
• Repair projects on compatible ceramic Kamado-style cookers

How to use

Ensure the cooker is cool and free of embers before starting. Remove the old gasket material from the lid and body contact surfaces, cleaning away residue and ash to provide a smooth surface. Position each new fiber felt gasket so it aligns with the original contact path between lid and body, applying gentle, even pressure to seat the material. Reassemble the lid and check for consistent contact around the perimeter; if necessary, trim excess material for a proper fit following the manufacturer’s fit lines on your cooker.

Recommendations

Replace both gaskets at the same time to maintain a uniform seal. Regularly inspect gasket condition after heavy use or seasonal storage; replace when compression, fraying, or deterioration becomes visible. Use only on compatible 23/24 inch Kamado-style ceramic cookers as specified.
