How to use

Install the camera on a ceiling or other suitable overhead surface using the included mounting hardware and connect it to your wired network. Configure the device via the web UI, NVR UI, VIGI app, or VIGI Security Manager. Set detection zones, alarm rules, and Corridor Mode as needed. Insert a compatible microSD card for local recording if required or connect the camera to a VIGI NVR for centralized storage. Adjust exposure and IR settings through the configuration interface to optimize image quality for the specific location.

Recommendations

Place the camera to cover the longest axis of narrow areas (corridors or aisles) and enable Corridor Mode for better vertical framing. Use AI classification and tailored alarm rules to reduce false notifications, and employ H.265 compression to minimize network load while keeping detailed footage. For outdoor or high-traffic indoor sites, use the IK08-rated dome to reduce risk of tampering.
