How to use

Connect the Archer AXE5400 to your modem via the WAN (RJ‑45) port and plug in power. Use the TP‑Link Tether mobile app or the web management interface to run the guided setup—configure your network name (SSID), password and security settings. Attach any wired devices to the Gigabit LAN ports and connect external storage to the USB 3.0 port if required. To expand coverage, add compatible OneMesh extenders and configure them under the same Wi‑Fi name for seamless roaming.

Recommendations

Place the router centrally in your home, elevated and away from large metal objects or other sources of wireless interference. Enable WPA3 and HomeShield features for improved security, and turn on automatic firmware updates (OTA) to keep the router up to date.
