TP-LINK’s TL-WPA4226KIT AV500 Powerline WiFi Kit extends your Internet connection to every room of the house through your home’s existing electrical circuitry. The TL-WPA4220 features a Wi-Fi Clone Button which can automatically extend your router’s wireless signal, making it easy to realize seamless roaming within your home network. What’s more, TL-PA4020P has an integrated power socket, which allows an additional device or power bar to be connected to the adapter as though it were a normal wall socket.

One Touch Super Range Extension

1. Plug one Internet connected adapter into a nearby power outlet.
2. Connect additional adapters to PCs/laptops/Internet TVs or other networked devices via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi, and you're done!

How to use

Plug one adapter that is connected to your router into a power outlet near the router and connect it to the router with an Ethernet cable. Plug the second adapter into a power outlet in the room where you need network access and connect devices via Ethernet cable or use its Wi‑Fi signal. To copy your router’s wireless network credentials, press the Wi‑Fi Clone Button on the extender; to secure the powerline network press the Pair buttons on the adapters to enable encrypted communication.

Recommendations

For best performance place adapters into wall outlets directly (avoid power strips), keep them away from large appliances that cause electrical noise, and press the Pair buttons after installation to secure the connection. Use the Wi‑Fi Clone Button to ensure the extender uses the same SSID and password as your router for seamless roaming.
