How to use

Unpack the Deco E4 units, install the Deco mobile app on your smartphone, and follow the in‑app setup wizard to create the mesh network. Place units around the home to achieve the desired coverage, optionally connect units via Ethernet for a wired backhaul, and select Router or Access Point mode in the app according to your network configuration. Use the app to view connected devices, prioritize traffic, create a guest network, and configure parental controls.

Recommendations

Place one Deco unit near your internet gateway and distribute the remaining units to cover distant areas; use Ethernet backhaul where possible to improve stability and speed. Keep firmware updated via the app and enable parental controls to manage access for children.
