How to use

Mount the TL-SL1218P in a 19-inch rack using the included brackets. Connect non‑PoE devices to the 10/100 ports and PoE devices (IP cameras, access points, IP phones) to the PoE ports; uplink the switch to your core network using the gigabit RJ45 ports or the SFP slot. The device is plug-and-play: it automatically detects PoE requirements for connected devices and supplies power accordingly. Use the one-touch Priority Mode to prioritise ports 1–8 for video traffic and enable Isolation Mode when you need to separate port-to-port traffic for security.

Recommendations

For surveillance deployments that require extended reach, enable Extend Mode to deliver PoE up to 250 m.
