How to use

Place the TL-SF1005D on a stable surface and connect its power adapter. Plug Ethernet cables from your modem, router or network devices into any of the five RJ45 ports; the switch will auto-negotiate link speed and automatically detect cable type. No additional setup or configuration is required—devices connected to the switch will be able to communicate over the local network immediately.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cables and avoid placing the switch in areas with poor ventilation or high temperatures. Although the switch supports 10/100 Mbps connections, use it with Gigabit-capable devices only when those devices are connected through a compatible gigabit switch or router.
