How to use

Install the switch in a rack or on a surface using the included mounting ears, connect network links at the desired ports and power on the unit. Use the AV-focused graphical user interface to select factory default AV settings or create and assign custom AV profiles to individual ports. Enable quiet mode if lower fan noise is required. For multicasting, leave NETGEAR IGMP Plus™ enabled to provide immediate multicast handling for Video over IP streams. When connecting with other M4350 or M4250 switches, auto-trunk and auto-LAG functions will detect and form aggregated links automatically.

Recommendations

For best results in AV over IP installations, keep firmware updated, enable IGMP Plus™ for multicast traffic, and use the auto-trunk/auto-LAG features when linking multiple switches. Place units in well-ventilated racks and enable quiet mode only if ambient temperature and airflow allow.
