Toaster Alessi MDL08B Black — Plissé design, 6 browning settings, bagel/defrost/reheat, 340×185×250 mm

The Alessi Plissé toaster MDL08B in black blends sculptural design with practical everyday functions. Constructed from BPA-free thermoplastic resin with a stainless-steel interior, the toaster measures approximately 340×185×250 mm and accommodates standard slices and smaller artisanal breads. It offers six browning settings and dedicated bagel, defrost and quick reheat modes, with illuminated controls, a removable crumb tray and a separate stainless-steel toast rack for easy cleaning and safe operation.

A removable crumb tray and separate stainless-steel toast rack simplify maintenance, and the non-slip base improves stability during use. Backlit controls make selection and monitoring of settings straightforward.

Start the toasting cycle using the control lever or button; illuminated controls indicate active settings. After toasting, allow the unit to cool before removing the stainless-steel toast rack or emptying the crumb tray. Unplug the appliance before cleaning and follow the manufacturer’s care instructions for safe maintenance.

Recommendations

Use the defrost function for frozen bread items to ensure even heating before selecting the desired browning level. Empty the removable crumb tray regularly to prevent accumulation and reduce fire risk. Avoid inserting oversized items that may contact internal heating elements, and do not immerse the toaster in water—clean only when unplugged and cooled.
