How to use

Install the free Seek Nano app on your Android smartphone, connect the CQ-DBAX thermal camera to the device via USB-C and open the app. Point the camera at the inspection area and view the live thermal image on your phone. Use the on-screen tools to mark spot temperatures, find the highest and lowest temperatures in the scene, switch color palettes, and capture photos or record video. For close-up inspection, attach the macro lens or use the fixed focus range starting at 30 cm.

Recommendations

For reliable temperature readings, allow the camera to acclimate to ambient temperature before measurement, keep the lens clean and avoid direct exposure to water. Use the wide field of view for broad-area surveys and the macro setting for detailed close-ups when diagnosing insulation, leaks or small electronic components.
