Once mounted at a recommended height of 2 to 3 m, the PIRA T8 DE monitors the area below and switches connected lighting reliably. The built-in light sensor can be set so that the detector only triggers when ambient light falls below a configured level, saving energy during bright hours. With a time delay range of 10 seconds up to 60 minutes, it adapts to rooms with short or long occupancy. The device operates directly on 230 V AC and is suitable for resistive, inductive/fluorescent and LED loads, with a maximum switching capacity of 1150 W for LED lighting (up to 200 µF).
