How to use

Install RDS2216 in a standard 19-inch rack and populate the U.2 NVMe bays with compatible NVMe drives. Connect uplinks using QSFP28/SFP28/SFP+ or 10G Ethernet ports according to your network design. Configure networking, storage exports and container services via RouterOS ROSE — use the management interface to enable NVMe‑TCP exports, set encryption layers, and deploy OCI containers. For redundancy, populate both power supply bays and follow hot-swap procedures when replacing units.

Recommendations

Place the server in a controlled data center environment with adequate cooling and redundant power. Use enterprise-class NVMe drives and keep RouterOS updated. Plan network cabling for 100G/25G/10G interfaces and test NVMe‑TCP performance with representative workloads before production deployment.
