The MikroTik netPower Lite 7R is an outdoor-ready Gigabit Ethernet switch with 8 RJ-45 ports (10/100/1000) designed to deliver fiber-like speeds using Ethernet. Part of the GPEN concept, it enables ISPs to provide Internet to individual apartments without the cost of GPON base stations or optical splitters. The unit supports multiple power options and is housed in a durable casing suitable for damp attics, elevator shafts and pole mounting.

How to use

Install the netPower Lite 7R in a suitable outdoor or semi‑outdoor location using clamps or mounting brackets. Connect client devices to the Gigabit RJ‑45 ports. Provide input power via a compatible DC supply, the 2‑pin terminal, or allow the switch to draw power using reverse PoE from connected clients. If required, use Ethernet port 8 to power another PoE device at the same voltage applied to the switch. Configure network settings using the device management interface according to your ISP or site requirements.
