How to use

Connect the Emita II to a computer using the supplied USB cable; the microphone is plug-and-play and does not normally require additional drivers. Mount the microphone on the cast iron desktop stand and adjust its position so the capsule is directed toward your mouth at a slight angle. Attach the pop and wind filters as needed to reduce plosives and breath noise. Position the external shock mount between the microphone and the stand to reduce vibrations from the desk.

Recommendations

Place the microphone 10–30 cm from your mouth for optimal voice capture, speak slightly off-axis to the capsule to reduce plosive sounds, and use the pop filter for close-mic work. Avoid placing the microphone near noisy computer fans or open windows to minimise background noise.
