Straightening iron Cecotec RitualCare 890 Titanium 42 W Warm Grey

The Cecotec RitualCare 890 Titanium straightening iron features advanced ultrasmooth titanium-coated plates and 3D floating technology to ensure even contact with the hair and reduce pulling and breakage. It supports multiple styles — straightening, waves and defined frizz-free curls — with a temperature range from 140 to 220ºC across five preset settings. The device includes an automatic shut-off after 30 minutes of inactivity, a 3-metre swivel cord for unrestricted movement and a silicone plate protector for safe storage and transport.

Advantages

Titanium-coated, ultrasmooth plates are designed to maximize glide and minimize friction, helping to protect hair from damage while providing precise styling control. 3D floating plates maintain constant contact for even pressing. The wide temperature range with five presets accommodates different hair types and styling needs. Built-in safety features and the included silicone protector improve convenience and reduce the risk of damage during storage.

How to use

Choose the appropriate temperature setting for your hair type (lower for fine or damaged hair, higher for thick or coarse hair). Plug in the device, wait for it to reach the selected temperature, and pass the plates along clean, dry sections of hair from root to tip in a smooth motion. Use the 3D floating plates to keep even pressure and avoid clamping too tightly. For waves or curls, twist or turn the iron while sliding to form the desired shape. After styling, switch off the device and allow it to cool before applying the silicone protector and storing it.

Recommendations

To reduce heat damage, start with the lowest effective temperature and avoid daily high-temperature use. Use heat-protective products on hair before styling and ensure hair is completely dry. Store the straightener with the silicone plate protector to preserve the titanium coating and prevent scratches.
