The ICY DOCK flexiDOCK MB795SP-B combines a 3.5" and a 2.5" hot-swappable SATA HDD/SSD bay into a single external 5.25" drive bay. How to use

Power off the system if preferred, then slide a bare 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drive directly into the corresponding bay until it seats on the internal SATA connector. Use the recessed front area to grip and remove a 3.5" drive or pull the exposed 2.5" drive out by hand. Toggle the individual power switches to provide or cut power to each drive as needed. Connect the external SATA data and power cables with their locking latches to ensure a secure connection.

Recommendations

When frequently swapping drives, use the power switches to remove power before removing a drive to minimise wear on the internal SATA connectors. Keep the retractable dust cover closed when the 3.5" bay is not in use and ensure adequate case ventilation to maintain optimal drive temperatures.
