Stage microphone Lenco MCW-020BK

The Lenco MCW-020BK is a wireless stage microphone set consisting of two dynamic handheld microphones and a single mini receiver. It is designed for clear reproduction of speech and singing and connects directly to a PA or party speaker via the receiver's 6.35 mm (1/4") jack. The microphones use cardioid pickup to reduce off-axis noise and are powered by AA batteries; the receiver is powered by one AA battery. The system operates on fixed UHF frequencies of 863.5 MHz and 864.5 MHz with an effective operating range of up to 15 m (50 ft).

How to use

Insert the supplied AA batteries into each microphone and a single AA into the mini receiver. Plug the receiver's 6.35 mm jack into the microphone input of your PA, mixer or speaker. Switch on the receiver and both microphones using their on/off switches. Position the microphones 5–15 cm from the mouth and maintain the microphones within the specified operating range for best signal quality. Adjust the speaker or mixer input gain to a suitable level to avoid clipping or feedback.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep the line of sight between microphones and receiver unobstructed when possible and avoid placing the receiver close to high-power transmitters or large metal objects. Replace batteries before long events and test sound levels during a soundcheck to set optimal gain and monitor for feedback.
