How to use

Attach a Lavalier II microphone to the transmitter using the locking 3.5 mm connector and clip the transmitter to the subject with MagClip GO or into a pocket. Mount the receiver on a camera hotshoe or place it near your recording device and connect via 3.5 mm or USB-C as required. Power on the units and verify RF link and levels on the receiver’s LCD. Use GainAssist and manual gain controls to set input sensitivity, or rely on 32-bit float on-board recording to prevent clipping. For multi-camera shoots, enable timecode to synchronise audio with video. Monitor via the receiver headphone output and use the smart charging case for transport and fast data transfer.

Recommendations

For consistent results, place the lavalier mic on the subject’s chest near the center of their torso, use the furry windshield outdoors, enable the safety channel when recording critical dialogue, and ensure both transmitter and receiver firmware are updated via the RØDE Central app before important shoots.
