Soundbar Hisense AX5140Q 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos, 600 W RMS, wireless subwoofer 280 W, black

Hisense AX5140Q is a 5.1.4-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar system designed to deliver immersive surround sound for movies, TV and gaming. The system combines a main soundbar with 13 speakers and a wireless 6.5" subwoofer to produce a total RMS power of 600 W. The soundbar unit provides 200 W RMS while the wireless subwoofer adds 280 W RMS to reinforce low frequencies. The system supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding and offers wireless connectivity for convenient placement.

Advantages

The AX5140Q provides object-based audio support through Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for three-dimensional sound staging. Its 5.1.4 channel layout and 13 integrated speakers create height and surround effects, while the dedicated 6.5" wireless subwoofer supplies extended bass performance. Built-in room calibration and Pure Surround technology help adapt audio to listening environments, and wireless rear surround capability simplifies setup without running extra cables.

Power on both units, allow the system to perform room calibration if available, and select the appropriate audio mode (Dolby Atmos or DTS:X) through the soundbar menu or connected source. Adjust volume and bass levels to suit room size and listening preferences.

Recommendations

For best immersive performance, enable Dolby Atmos content from compatible streaming apps or Blu-ray sources and place the wireless rear surrounds where they provide unobstructed side/rear reflections. Use room calibration to optimize output for your listening space and avoid placing the subwoofer in a completely enclosed cabinet to maintain bass clarity.
