Socket outlet RJ-45 METZ CONNECT 130B127003-E Grey

The METZ CONNECT 130B127003-E Grey is an RJ-45 socket outlet for mounting on TH35 rails to DIN EN 60715 in electrical distribution panels for residential and industrial installations. It is equipped with a Cat.6A 270° RJ45 individual module, offers 45° cable entry from the bottom with a 45° downward plug direction, and includes an integrated dust protection cover. The unit is designed for Class EA performance up to 500 MHz and has been component-tested and certified for Cat.6A and higher test limits by GHMT and to relevant standards.

Advantages

How to use

Snap the outlet onto a TH35 DIN rail in the distribution panel and connect the equipotential bonding according to the installation class: for protection class I, connect the integrated equipotential plate to the building equipotential bonding via the bonding terminal; for protection class II, install in a panel with protective insulation and remove the equipotential bonding spring. Prepare and insert conductors into the IDC according to the printed T568A or T568B assignment on the stuffer cap, then terminate using the appropriate tool. Insert the mating RJ45 plug at a 45° angle downward. The dust protection cover can remain in place when not in use.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 GBit Ethernet and PoE operation, use Category 6A cabling rated to at least the same performance class and observe manufacturer guidelines for proper grounding and cable routing. Verify termination quality with appropriate test equipment after installation.
