How to use

Install the Meross MSG200 by connecting the unit to a 5 V/1 A (or higher) USB power source, mount the sensor and clamp near the garage door according to the included manual, and attach the antenna for best Wi‑Fi reception. Pair the switch with your preferred smart home platform (Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Samsung SmartThings) using the vendor app or platform pairing procedure. You can add up to three doors by acquiring and installing additional sensors. Use the app or voice assistant to open and close the garage door, and check status remotely.

Recommendations

Ensure your home Wi‑Fi network is 2.4 GHz and uses WPA‑PSK/WPA2‑PSK security (Enterprise networks are not supported). Follow the user manual for safe placement of cables and sensors, keep the operating temperature between 0°C and 40°C, and test the audible warning to confirm it notifies people or pets before door closure.
