Laser technology
Optoma laser projectors use high-quality lasers to create the projected image. How to use

Place the GT2100HDR near the projection surface to achieve a large image with minimal distance; for a 100” picture, position the projector slightly over one metre from the wall. Connect your source devices via the HDMI inputs — you can keep an HDMI dongle attached to create a smart projector — and use the USB-A port to power compatible accessories. Turn on the projector for instant operation, select the appropriate input and enable game mode when low latency is required. Use the available control protocols (RS232, AMX, Crestron RoomView, Extron IPLink) to integrate the projector into remote management systems.

Recommendations

For best results, install the projector in a stable position close to the screen or wall, keep ambient light moderate for optimal perceived contrast, and use Rec.709 or HDR sources to take full advantage of the projector’s colour and dynamic range. Regularly check lens area for dust and use the external power supply and integrated control options for reliable, energy-efficient operation.
