How to use

Insert the transceiver into an empty SFP+ slot on a compatible switch, router or server until it clicks into place. Connect a suitable Cat6/Cat6a copper Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port on the transceiver and to the corresponding device. Ensure the host device supports SFP+ copper modules and that firmware or driver requirements are met; after insertion the link should negotiate at the supported speed. For removal, press the release mechanism on the transceiver and gently pull it out, then disconnect the cable.
