Alphacool Eisfluegel flow indicator G1/4 square combines acetal, plexiglass and nylon in a compact flow display (44.5 x 32.1 x 48.4 mm) with three G1/4” screw threads and multi-colour plexiglass rotor options. It is intended for use in water-cooling loops in computer systems and provides a visible indication of coolant direction and flow.

How to use

Install the Alphacool Eisfluegel inline in the loop using the G1/4” threaded connections so coolant flows through the housing and turns the internal six-blade plexiglass rotor. The upper G1/4” thread can be used for an LED fitting, a fill/drain fitting or as an alternative outlet; ensure connections are sealed and tightened to avoid leaks. Observe rotor orientation to confirm flow direction during system operation.

Recommendations

Mount the flow indicator in a visible section of the loop and choose the rotor contrast side (blue or yellow) that provides the best visibility with your coolant colour. Verify compatibility with existing G1/4” fittings and handle the plexiglass surfaces carefully to avoid scratches.
