Accelerate performance for HPC and AI workloads
Eight dual-slot GPU compute in 4U
ESC8000A-E12 is an AMD EPYC™ 9004 dual-socket server built for the demands of enterprise AI infrastructure to deliver unprecedented performance with industry-leading GPUs, faster GPU interconnect and higher-bandwidth fabric, and supports up to eight dual-slot active or passive GPUs scalable configuration with a choice of NVIDIA NVLink® Bridge or AMD Infinity Fabric™ Link to enable scaling of performance with increased bandwidth — ready to match your AI and HPC workloads.

PCIe 5.0 Ready
Faster storage, graphics and networking capabilities
PCI Express® (PCIe®) 5.0 delivers 32 GT/s bandwidth, which is twice the speed of PCIe 4.0, and offers lower power consumption, better lane scalability and backwards compatibility. ASUS servers are PCIe 5.0 ready, with scalable designs to satisfy the increasing workloads or modern data centers.

MLPerf Benchmarks
Top results on AI workloads
ASUS NVIDIA-Certified GPU servers have achieved top performance results in the data-center Closed division across six tasks on MLCommons® MLPerf™ training and inference benchmarks, outperforming other servers with the equivalent GPU configurations to create complete, optimized solutions and cultivate strong industry partnerships to enhance AI developments in diverse fields to push technology to its limits.

Sustainability
Keep your data center green
Data centers can consume huge amounts of electricity, raising environmental concerns. ASUS servers are designed to optimize both total cost of ownership (TCO) and total cost to the environment (TCE), including thermal design, power efficiency and advanced cooling solutions — reducing the impact of our products on the planet.

Optimized Thermal Design
Independent CPU and GPU airflow tunnels
Our servers features a streamlined design with dedicated CPU and GPU airflow tunnels for seriously efficient heat dissipation. This advanced design provides better cooling for both the GPU and CPU, enabling heat to be expelled into the surrounding ambient air for greater energy efficiency and overall savings on system power.

2+2 Power Supplies
Up to 96% efficient for reduced operating costs
ESC8000A-E12 supports up to four 3000 W 80 PLUS® Titanium redundant power supplies to reduce operating costs and enable easier servicing. When four power supplies are installed, the configuration can be set to redundant with 2+2 or 2+1 models. This ensures power is supplied to the system equally from all power supplies to maximize efficiency, enabling uninterrupted operation.

Storage
Scalable design for growing workloads
ESC8000A-E12 is designed for easy scalability to fit growing businesses and workloads. With PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 slots that fit full-height, full-length GPU cards, ESC8000A-E12 features different combinations of storage and networking expansions and multiple interface types for flexible storage configurations.

Management
Comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions
Advanced ASUS management tools comprise IT assets management, security and reliability to improve the performance, up-time and real-time monitoring of the servers remotely — highly increasing the efficiency of IT infrastructure.

BMC
Remote server management
ASUS ASMB11-iKVM is the latest server-management solution from ASUS, built upon the ASPEED 2600 chipset running on the latest AMI MegaRAC SP-X. The module provides various interfaces to enable out-of-band server management through WebGUI, Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) and Redfish® API.

IT infrastructure-management software
Streamline IT operations via a single dashboard
ASUS Control Center (ACC) is remote IT-management software application designed for monitoring hardware and software IT assets and inventory status, and enabling seamless remote BIOS configurations and updates, efficient IT diagnostics and troubleshooting and enhanced security with hotfix updates — allowing easier server management for any IT infrastructure.

Hardware Root-of-Trust Solution
Detect, recover, boot and protect
ASUS servers integrate PFR FPGA as the platform Root-of-Trust solution for firmware resiliency to prevent from hackers from gaining access to infrastructure. ASUS security solutions are fully compliant with the 2018 National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) SP 800 193 specification.
* Platform Firmware Resilience (PFR) module must be specified at time of purchase and is factory-fitted. It is not for sale separately.

Trusted Platform Module 2.0
ASUS servers also include support Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) to secure hardware through integrated cryptographic keys and offer regular firmware update for vulnerabilities.

Omniverse
NVIDIA® solutions for 3D collaboration

Serviceability
Improved IT operational efficiency

Tool-less Cover
ASUS servers feature three easy-access covers that can be opened without tools, enabling IT staff to perform maintenance on specific components without removing the server fully from the rack.

Front-bezel Q-Code
ASUS servers have a visible Q-Code/port-80 LED display LED for simple monitoring of the entire boot process, from power on through loading of the operating system.

Hot-swap design
ASUS servers feature multiple hot-swap components, including fans, power supplies and storage for easy troubleshooting to keep 24/7 seamless operations.

Performance
AMD EPYC™ 9004 series processors
AMD EPYC™ processors enable efficient data centers that maximize operations, while managing energy costs, delivering impressive performance per system and per rack—critical for allowing capacity growth in power-constrained environments.

How to use

Install the chassis into a standard 19‑inch rack and populate the CPU sockets with compatible AMD EPYC™ 9004 processors and DDR5 DIMMs according to ASUS memory population guidelines. Fit GPUs into the full‑height, full‑length PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 slots as needed, and connect GPU bridges (NVLink or Infinity Fabric) when multi‑GPU scaling is required. Configure storage and networking modules in the available bays and expansion slots, and install redundant power supplies to match desired availability. Use the ASMB11‑iKVM and ASUS Control Center for initial configuration, remote monitoring and firmware management.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in AI and HPC workloads, deploy certified GPU configurations and enable the appropriate GPU interconnect (NVLink or Infinity Fabric). Ensure adequate rack cooling and follow ASUS thermal and power guidelines when populating GPUs and power supplies. Specify the PFR module at purchase if hardware root‑of‑trust is required, and keep BMC and firmware updated via ASUS Control Center or Redfish/IPMI interfaces.
