How to use

Install the TS-864eU-RP-8G into a standard 2U rack and populate drive bays with compatible HDDs or SSDs. Configure memory if higher capacity is required and install optional PCIe cards or USB adapters to expand networking functionality. Connect to your network via built-in Ethernet or added multi-gig network cards and access the QTS 5 web interface to perform initial setup using the guided notice board. Create storage pools and RAID volumes, enable SSD caching or Qtier auto-tiering as needed, and set up user accounts, shared folders, and backup jobs through the QTS apps. For virtualization or container workloads, install Virtualization Station or Container Station and allocate resources accordingly.
