AV receiver PureTools PT-HDBT-702-RX

The PureTools PT-HDBT-702-RX is a compact HDBaseT receiver designed for AV installations requiring reliable video, audio and control signal distribution. How to use

Connect an HDMI source to the transmitter unit and run a single Cat cable from the transmitter to the PT-HDBT-702-RX receiver. Connect the receiver to the display via HDMI. If available, enable PoH on the transmitter or another PoH-capable device to power the receiver; alternatively use a compatible 24 V supply. Use the unit’s EDID management and CEC passthrough to align source and display settings. IR or RS232 can be routed through the HDBaseT link for remote control.

Recommendations

Use quality shielded Cat5e or Cat6 cable for reliable HDBaseT transmission and observe the 4K distance limit of 40 m (increase to shorter runs for higher signal reliability). For 4K@60 sources prefer equipment and cabling rated for the stated HDMI profile and ensure connected devices support 4:2:0 chroma subsampling where required.
