AV receiver Kramer Electronics PT-572+

The AV receiver Kramer Electronics PT-572+ is a compact DGKat™ twisted-pair receiver that restores HDMI signals converted by a compatible transmitter. It supports HDMI 1.4 features including 3D, Deep Color, x.v.Color™, uncompressed audio channels, Dolby TrueHD and DTS‑HD, and provides transmission bandwidth up to 1.65 Gbps. The unit is small and lightweight for flexible installation in professional and residential AV systems.

Advantages

How to use

Connect the PT-572+ to the receiver end of a DGKat™ twisted-pair link that was created by a compatible transmitter (for example the PT-571). Use shielded twisted-pair cable with both shield ends grounded; Kramer recommends BC-DGKat524, BC-DGKat623 or BC-DGKat7a23 for optimum range. Attach the HDMI output from the PT-572+ to the display and the transmitter to the source. If the transmitter or receiver provides Power Connect™ within 90 m, a single power connection will power both units. Check the Status LED to verify power and link status.

Recommendations

For reliable performance and maximum range, use Kramer shielded DGKat™ cables and ensure both ends of the cable shield are properly soldered to ground. Note that achievable distance depends on resolution, graphics source and display; non-Kramer CAT5/6/7 cables may not reach the specified ranges.
