The Power Distribution Unit Digitus DN-95417 provides orderly power supply and flexible installation for 482.6 mm (19") server racks and network cabinets. The unit features six shockproof AC outlets arranged at a space-saving 45° angle to avoid blocking adjacent sockets, a robust aluminum housing in silver and black, an integrated circuit breaker for overload protection and a 1.8 m power cable. The compact dimensions and included mounting bracket allow horizontal mounting in the 19" grid and also permit vertical installation when required.

How to use

Install the PDU into the 482.6 mm (19") rack using the supplied mounting bracket. Choose horizontal mounting as standard; if needed, attach the bracket for vertical installation. Adjust the bracket position on the unit to one of the eight available settings (four at 45° and four at 90°) to match cabinet layout and cable routing. Connect the PDU to the mains supply, plug in devices to the 45° arranged outlets, and monitor the integrated circuit breaker for overload events.

Recommendations

Use the 45° socket orientation to accommodate bulky plugs and maintain access to adjacent outlets. Ensure the total connected current does not exceed 16 A and check that the rack wiring and upstream protection are dimensioned accordingly. Regularly inspect the integrated circuit breaker and cable for signs of wear or damage.
