Polymaker HT-PLA-GF is a glass fiber reinforced PLA filament engineered for higher heat resistance than standard PLA. Its glass fiber content increases stiffness and dimensional stability, while the HT-PLA base allows for annealing to achieve a heat deflection temperature of 100°C. The natural grey color has a matte, technical appearance ideal for functional parts, jigs, and fixtures that require better thermal performance than conventional PLA.

In daily use

Printing with HT-PLA-GF is similar to standard PLA, but the glass fiber content makes the filament more abrasive. A hardened steel or ruby nozzle is recommended to prevent wear. Parts printed with this material can be annealed in an oven to increase their heat resistance, making them suitable for applications that would normally deform standard PLA, such as under-hood automotive components or electronics enclosures.
