Wireless audio sharing doubles the fun
If your kid's friends also have a pair of Philips K5500 headphones, they can create a wireless daisy chain between the headphones and listen to the same audio. One pair of headphones is connected to the smart device they want to listen from, and then both friends need to press the multi-function button to enter audio-sharing mode.

Foldable design with kid-friendly comfort and controls
Big round control buttons on the earcups make these headphones simple to use, while soft earcup cushions make them comfortable to wear. The cushioned headband adjusts for the perfect fit and dots on the back show which way around to put the headphones on. They can be folded flat, or flat and inwards, for easy storage when not in use.

A built-in microphone lets kids take calls with family and friends. A dedicated mic picks up the sound of their voice, while a noise-reduction algorithm quietens some of the background noise from the world around them.

How to use

Charge the headset fully before first use. Use the dedicated Bluetooth button to pair with a device or connect with a 3.5 mm cable for wired listening. Press the multi-function button on each headphone to enter wireless audio-sharing mode when two compatible Philips K5500 headphones are nearby. Use the earcup controls to adjust volume, switch ANC or enable Awareness Mode. During calls the built-in microphone captures voice while the noise-reduction feature reduces background noise.

Recommendations

Set the Philips Headphones app to the default 75 dB limit for safe everyday listening; enable the 85 dB travel mode only when necessary. Use Awareness Mode in busy public places so children can hear ambient sounds and voices. For longer trips, enable ANC to reduce background noise and extend listening comfort.
