How to use

Place the docking station on your workstation and pair the SpeechMike Premium Air according to the quick start guide. Charge the device in the docking station until the battery is sufficient for use. Press the configured record button or use the foot control (optional) to start dictation. The integrated motion sensor mutes the microphone when the device is set down and unmutes when picked up; custom motion events can be programmed for pause/continue operations. Use the touch sensor to navigate applications while recording and configure button functions via SpeechControl if needed.

Recommendations

For best speech recognition results, position the free‑floating microphone close to the mouth, avoid covering the microphone capsule, and keep the docking station within 5 meters for reliable wireless transmission. Clean the antimicrobial housing with a soft cloth and manufacturer‑approved disinfectant to maintain hygiene without damaging the surface.
