Permanent Marker Edding 850 Block Red 5 pc(s)

The Edding 850 Block Red permanent marker set contains five markers with a block tip designed for bold, consistent lines on a wide range of surfaces. The waterproof, lightfast ink provides long-lasting red markings suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. The markers are ready to use immediately and designed for tasks that require high visibility and durable markings without smudging or rapid fading.

Advantages

The block tip delivers uniform strokes and reliable coverage, reducing the need for repeated passes. Waterproof and lightfast ink resists moisture and UV exposure, preserving legibility over time. The marker body is shaped for comfortable handling and predictable control when writing or marking. A set of five ensures a consistent color supply for projects that require multiple markers or backups.

Suitable for

• Marking cardboard, paper and packaging
• Labeling bins, crates and storage containers
• Writing on plastic, metal and glass (temporary on some glossy surfaces)
• Creating bold signage and notices for indoor and outdoor use
• Art and craft projects that require vivid, durable red ink

Key specifications

• Tip type: block tip for wide, even lines
• Ink properties: waterproof and lightfast
• Color: red (set of 5)
• Typical stroke width: suitable for bold marking and lettering
• Intended use: indoor and outdoor surfaces; most porous and many non-porous materials

How to use

Shake the marker gently before use to activate the ink. Press the tip briefly onto a test surface if the marker has not been used recently to ensure ink flow. Apply steady pressure for consistent, bold lines; adjust angle and speed to vary stroke width. Replace the cap securely after use to prevent the tip from drying out.

Recommendations

For best results, test on an inconspicuous area when marking glossy or coated surfaces to verify adhesion. Store horizontally or tip-down and keep caps closed to maintain ink performance. Use on clean, dry surfaces to achieve optimal permanence and color intensity.
