Permanent marker Edding 8015 F Bullet tip Black

Laboratory marker for extra-fine, precise marking and labelling of smooth and transparent surfaces such as slides, reaction vessels, petri and laboratory dishes. The round nib produces a stroke width of 0.75 mm. The marker contains quick-drying, wear-resistant, waterproof, lightfast and low-odour permanent ink that is permanent on plastics and removable from glass with acetone, ethanol, isopropanol or methyl ethyl ketone. The product is tested for extreme resistance to abrasion and for temperature resistance up to 500 °C on aluminium and down to -183 °C in liquid nitrogen; tests were carried out and approved by TÜV Saarland. How to use

Shake the marker well before use. Press the bullet tip gently onto the surface and write or draw with steady pressure to achieve a consistent 0.75 mm stroke. Allow the ink to dry for a short time; drying time will vary with surface and ambient conditions. To remove marks from glass, apply acetone, ethanol, isopropanol or methyl ethyl ketone and wipe with a lint-free cloth. Do not use solvents on plastic labware where permanence is required.

Recommendations

Store horizontally with the cap closed to prevent drying. Use on clean, dry surfaces for best adhesion. For prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures or chemical sterilisation, test marking on a sample item first. Keep out of reach of children and follow laboratory safety procedures when using solvents for removal.
