PATCHBOX PONEX8STPGR Cat6a U/FTP 0.8m Green Retractable Patch Cable System with 24 Cassettes for 8RU

The PATCHBOX PONEX8STPGR rethinks rack cabling from the ground up: instead of fixed-length patch leads that leave slack and clutter, this 8RU system uses 24 retractable Cat6a cassettes, each holding a 0.8 m green U/FTP cable that extends only as far as needed and retracts cleanly when unplugged. The result is a permanently tidy rack with up to 50% more usable space and dramatically faster moves, adds, and changes.

Highlights

• 24 Cat6a U/FTP cassettes pre-loaded with 0.8 m green patch cables
• Retractable design eliminates cable slack and spaghetti, freeing up to 50% rack space
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet ready with 500 MHz bandwidth and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors
• Supports PoE, PoE+, and UPoE for powering devices such as cameras and access points
• LSZH jacket is halogen-free and low-smoke for safer data centre environments
• Colour-coded green cassettes enable fast visual identification of network zones
• Backed by a 10-year warranty for mission-critical reliability

In daily use

Installation and troubleshooting become up to 10 times faster. Technicians simply pull the cable to the required port, connect, and the excess retracts automatically. No cable managers, no velcro, no re-dressing bundles after every change. The green colour can be used to designate a specific VLAN, security zone, or customer network, making audits and fault-finding immediate. The compact 8RU footprint is ideal for smaller server cabinets, edge locations, and structured cabling consolidation points.
