PATCHBOX® Plus+ Long Range is a cabling system designed to eliminate cable clutter in network cabinets by providing extractable, pre-measured fibre optic cables. This model supports cabinets up to 46RU and includes a 2.5 m yellow OS2 fibre optic cable with LC connectors at both ends, 9 µm core diameter and full-duplex capability. The system uses RoHS-compliant cables with Corning® fibres and a steel frame accommodating up to 24 PATCHBOX® cassettes; a PATCHBOX® Patchcatch (0RU cable management) is included.

How to use

Install the PATCHBOX® steel frame into the network cabinet at the desired RU position. Insert the PATCHBOX® cassettes and route the extractable LC–LC fibre cable to the equipment ports. Use the cable stopper to set the exact exposed length and label each cassette using the integrated labelling option. For replacement or maintenance, pull out the cassette, exchange the pre-terminated cable, and reinsert the cassette to restore connections quickly.
