Constructed with S/FTP (foil‑and‑braid) shielding and a stranded bare copper conductor, this Cat6a cable supports up to 10 Gbit/s and a 500 MHz bandwidth while resisting moisture, abrasion, UV and temperature extremes for reliable outdoor performance.

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 plug to your network device (router, switch or wall socket) and the other RJ‑45 plug to the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends, excessive tension or prolonged contact with oily or hot surfaces. For outdoor runs, use appropriate cable clips or conduits and seal any entry points to prevent water ingress into building penetrations.

Recommendations

For longest service life outdoors, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight where possible, secure the cable to prevent mechanical strain, and maintain operating temperature within the specified -40 °C to 65 °C range. Use with compatible Cat6a equipment and PoE/PoE+ devices as required.
