Welded floor-standing distribution cabinet with removable side and rear panels, IP20, load capacity 800 kg The new generation of the N1 RMA free-standing distribution box series utilises innovative elements in the frame construction that enable a higher load capacity of 800 kg for all sizes while maintaining the construction strength. High stability of the construction The RMA has a robust welded construction. The high quality of workmanship and the latest technologies ensure the great appearance of the trolley. The double doors are fitted with plug-in hinges. Flexible door opening The hinge system allows the door to be opened by almost 180°. The doors can be easily removed and the door hinge changed. Triton lever handles We manufacture our own swivelling lever handles for free-standing distributors. By replacing the plastic module (not included in the accessory pack), a semi-cylindrical locking cylinder can also be used (optional accessory). Patent: PUV 2013-27443 Adjustable vertical locking rails The vertical 19" raster rails are infinitely adjustable in the enclosure depth. This facilitates the installation of components and cable management. Removable side and rear panels The RMA has a welded frame and removable side panels. Like the rear panel, these are attached to the frame with keyed alike locks as standard. Special doors for ventilation units A special solid sheet metal door for the installation of the RAx-CH-X0x-X3 ventilation units can be ordered for this type of distributor. More information can be found in the Active ventilation section. Break-out panels The cable entries in the rear part of the distributor are fitted with break-out blanking plates. They can be sealed against dust using the brush strip. A plastic frame protects the cables from damage (both are included in the accessory pack). Opening for the ventilation unit The large opening with a break-out panel allows a Triton fan panel to be fitted and removed from the outside without the need for screws. Castors, levelling feet, plinth The distributor can be installed on levelling feet (part of the accessory pack) using the optional equipment for plinths, castors or heavy-duty castors with support frame if necessary. Rear panel The removable side and rear panels have the same keyed alike locks as the front door as standard. Ventilation slots in the frame The RMA distributors have ventilation slots in the frame for the supply of cooling air to the installed components. Cooling can be supported by installing a ventilation unit. Earthing All removable parts are interconnected and earthed in accordance with the relevant standard requirements. Flex frame (applies to 800 mm wide distributors) The system enables the installation of adjustable vertical mounting rails at 19", 21" and 23" spacing, depending on the technology used. Centre pair of vertical mounting rails For distribution boards with a depth of over 800 mm, we supply a third pair of vertical mounting rails as standard, which do not interfere with the installation of deeper components thanks to their open profile. Shorter components can be attached to the centre verticals using various types of supports (optional accessories). Swivelling frame The 800 mm wide RMA and RZA distributors can be fitted with a swivelling frame with a load capacity of 150 kg. The maximum installation depth for 19" accessories is 330 mm. 19" floor-standing distributor with IP20 degree of protection The distributor includes 4 (6 for distributors deeper than 800 mm) adjustable vertical latching rails for installing the components. Distributor construction: welded steel construction with removable walls, single or double-leaf doors in solid sheet metal, perforated (80 % and 86 % air passage) or glass door versions with 4 mm thick safety glass. They can be mounted at the front or rear of the distributor. The maximum permissible load capacity of the individual doors is 20 kg. The minimum application thickness is 65 µm. These cabinets are designed for the installation of data and telecommunications systems and their distribution systems. The distribution frame and all removable parts (side and rear panels, doors, ...) are connected with earthing cables, which must be properly fixed and plugged in for the entire service life of the enclosure. There is an M8 screw in the base of the distribution board as the main earthing point. Cable entries with break-out covers are located at the top and bottom. The recommended maximum static load of the distributor is 800 kg when using levelling feet or a plinth. How to use

Position the cabinet on a level surface and ensure adequate clearance for front and rear access. Install 19" rack equipment using the vertical mounting rails and appropriate rack screws or cage nuts; adjust rail depth if the cabinet includes adjustable rails to match device depth within the 48.3 cm usable space. Route power and network cables through available cable entry points, secure cabling with ties or cable management accessories, and verify airflow and clearance around installed devices. For safety, connect grounding according to local regulations and follow manufacturer guidelines for heavy devices, using additional support if required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install devices starting from the bottom for better weight distribution, maintain clear airflow paths, and secure heavy equipment with appropriate mounting hardware. Use cable management accessories to prevent strain on ports and to keep airflow unobstructed. If additional cooling or power distribution is needed, select compatible 19" PDU or fan modules that fit the 18U cabinet depth.
