Freestanding rack DIGITUS DN-19 32U-6/6-B-1

The DIGITUS® freestanding rack Unique series DN-19 32U-6/6-B-1 is a 32U network cabinet with external dimensions 600×600 mm (WxD) and a height of 1609 mm, designed for indoor use (IP20). Constructed from sheet steel with electrostatic powder coating in black (RAL 9005), the cabinet provides robust 19" mounting rails, flexible cable routing and modular panels for convenient access and installation.

Advantages

The enclosure offers high load capacity on the 483 mm (19") profile rails, infinitely adjustable front and rear rails with clear unit labelling, and a modular, openable base chassis with removable blind panels. Cable management is supported by generous cable inlets with brushes at the base and rear, vertical cable ducts (on wider models) and rear brush strips (from 26U). The roof is prepared for a fan unit and includes a removable cover. Doors and side panels are lockable and removable, and the assembled delivery can be fully dismantled if required.

How to use

Place the freestanding rack on a level indoor surface and, if necessary, assemble or dismantle panels to access the modular base chassis and interior. Mount 19" equipment to the adjustable profile rails and route cables through the base and rear brush inlets or through the vertical cable ducts. Fit a fan unit to the prepared roof area if required and secure doors and side panels using the lockable fittings. Check load distribution on the profile rails and ensure proper ventilation and cable routing before powering equipment.

Recommendations

Keep the cabinet indoors in a dust-controlled environment and distribute equipment weight evenly across the 19" rails. Use the brush inlets and cable ducts to maintain tidy cabling and to reduce airflow obstructions. Regularly verify that locks and hinges are secure and that any installed fans are functioning to maintain optimal operating conditions.
