How to use

Connect the master unit to one end of the cable and attach the remote terminator to the opposite end. Select Auto-Scan for a quick full-line check or Manual-Scan for step-by-step verification of individual pairs and pins. Use the built-in tone generator and a standard tone probe to trace cables in bundles or behind walls. For USB or IEEE 1394 cables, attach the appropriate optional adapter before testing.

Recommendations

Store the TC-NT2 in its Deluxe Carrying Pouch when not in use and transport it with the supplied RJ45-to-BNC adapters and patch cable. Replace batteries per manufacturer instructions and avoid exposing the tester to extreme temperatures or moisture to maintain measurement accuracy.
