How to use

Install the adapter in a compatible HP ProLiant Gen8 server FlexibleLOM slot or an appropriate PCIe x8 slot per the server maintenance guide. Insert SFP+ SR fiber modules or connect Direct Attach Copper cables to the SFP+ cages, then boot the server and install the appropriate HP/HPE network drivers and firmware.
