NEO Tools 01-312 insulated tool kit for electric and hybrid cars, 51 pieces

NEO Tools 01-312 is a 51-piece insulated tool and accessory kit for professional servicing of electric and hybrid vehicles. It is supplied in a wheeled case with a telescopic handle. The manufacturer marks the insulated tools for 1000 V and specifies CrV, S2 and 8Cr14 steels for the different components.

The set includes six insulated pliers and cutters, an insulated knife, seven slotted/Phillips screwdrivers and three TORX screwdrivers. The six pliers and cutters cover combination, bent-nose, diagonal, flat-nose, water-pump and cable-cutting tasks. TORX sizes are T20, T25 and T30.

The 3/8-inch socket system contains fifteen sockets in sizes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 22 mm, three spline-bit sockets M8/M10/M12, one 200 mm ratchet and two extensions of 125 mm and 250 mm. This is a 3/8-inch kit, not a 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch mechanics set.

Accessories include ten insulating cable-end caps in 10 mm and 20 mm sizes, two warning signs and a roll of red-and-white non-adhesive warning tape. The case keeps these items together for transport and organised storage. The 51-piece total includes the tools and listed accessories; the carrying case is supplied with them. Use is intended for trained personnel following the equipment service procedures and the tool instructions.
