We would like to respond openly to every negative review about us. Many are posted anonymously, so we cannot reach those customers directly. This open letter is our reply, and we would be grateful if you took a moment to read it.

But here is what a one-star review will never tell you:

  • We import from 70+ official distributors. That is why you pay far less than local retail — and why delivery takes longer. We publish the date before you pay, never after.
  • You can pay only when your goods land in Johannesburg. Pay on Arrival, no full payment up front. Ask yourself what scammer offers that.
  • Nobody has ever lost money with us. You get the product, or you get a refund. There is no third option, and there never has been.

SmartContrast for rich black details

SmartContrast is a Philips technology that analyzes the contents you are displaying, automatically adjusting colors and controlling backlight intensity to dynamically enhance contrast for the best digital images and videos or when playing games where dark hues are displayed. When Economy mode is selected, contrast is adjusted and backlighting fine-tuned for just-right display of everyday office applications and lower power consumption.

How to use

Connect the monitor to your PC or laptop using the appropriate video cable (HDMI or other supported input) and power it on. Adjust screen position or attach to a VESA-compatible mount if required. Use the on-screen display (OSD) menu to set brightness, color mode, LowBlue mode and enable Adaptive-Sync when supported by your graphics source. Built-in speakers are ready for simple audio playback; adjust volume through the OSD or your computer.

Recommendations

For comfortable long-term use, enable LowBlue mode and keep screen brightness at a suitable level for the ambient light. Use the anti-glare surface and proper viewing distance (about an arm’s length) to reduce eye fatigue. If wall mounting, confirm VESA hole pattern and use a compatible mount.
