The Atomos Ninja ULTRA is a 13.2 cm (5.2") SuperAtom IPS touchscreen monitor-recorder designed for mirrorless and cinematic cameras. It records a wide range of formats up to 8K RAW input and provides recording options including Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, H.265 and DNx. Lightweight and built from ABS and aluminum, the Ninja ULTRA can be used handheld or mounted on larger rigs and supports removable AtomX SSDmini drives for extended recording times.

How to use

Mount the Ninja ULTRA to your camera rig using the supplied 1/4–20 adapter or 3/8–16 mount points. Connect the camera via HDMI for RAW or standard output; attach Atomos Connect to enable SDI, network and Wi‑Fi 6E features. Select the desired codec and resolution in AtomOS, insert a supported AtomX SSDmini drive, and start recording. Use the touchscreen to apply LUTs, monitor exposure and focus, set timed or time-lapse recordings, and control capture settings. To enable H.265 or DNx codecs, register the product at my.atomos.com and activate the codecs using the provided token system; ProRes RAW activation requires connecting a compatible RAW camera during activation.
