The MCE18 is built for convenience. Set the lux dial so it only operates after dusk, or leave it active around the clock in windowless areas. The time delay can be tuned to keep lights on for just a few seconds or several minutes after the last trigger. Because the microphone sensitivity is adjustable, you can avoid false activations from background noise while still responding to a knock, a voice, or a door closing. Installation is straightforward: mount the unit at a height between 1 and 1.8 metres, connect the wiring, and adjust the three dials to suit the room.
