The Lindy 150m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60 USB 2.0 & IR HDBaseT KVM Extender transmits HDMI video, USB 2.0 and IR control signals up to 150 metres over a single Cat.6 cable. It supports resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD at 60 Hz and HDR, and provides PoC (Power over Cable) for a point-to-point transmitter-to-receiver installation. The extender includes screw-type DC power jacks for secure connections and is compatible with the HDBaseT standard for long-distance AV distribution.

How to use

Connect the HDMI source (PC, media player) to the transmitter HDMI input and the display to the receiver HDMI output. Use a single Cat.6 cable between transmitter and receiver, observing the maximum recommended length of 150 m. If PoC is required, connect the power supply only to the transmitter unit; the receiver will be powered via the Cat.6 cable. Attach USB devices (mouse, keyboard) to the receiver to control the source when using HDBaseT mode. Use the bi-directional IR ports to send remote commands from either side of the installation.

Recommendations

For reliable long-distance performance, use good-quality Cat.6 or better cable and avoid additional couplers, wall plates or patch panels in the HDBaseT link, as these may reduce the maximum achievable distance.
